Wonderful to see a woman on the cover of a game. Particularly one that is of a confident looking, non-sexualized woman as the central figure. Kudos to Grail Games and Vincent Dutrait for this brave and refreshing choice!

No, it's a woman

But she's wearing a green outfit, which would imply that she is a Cultist of Cthulhu, seeking to bring about the downfall of humanity. She could also be in cahoots with that shady looking character, surreptitiously selling her those strange looking ingredients to use in a summoning ritual.

If you look very closely, you can see a trace of tentacle in the shadows just beneath her voluminous sleeve.
