Regains Discarded Cards
You have the power of History. When you would discard a card, you may use this power to archive it instead. To archive a card, place it faceup on this sheet. Archived cards are not part of your hand.
At the end of an encounter in which you were not a main player or ally, you may use this power to archive a card from your hand.
When you would draw cards from the deck, you may use this power to substitute some or all of those cards with archived cards.
(As Any Player) (Optional) (All Phases)
Wild: You may discard your hand, then choose eight cards from the discard pile to become your new hand. Give this flare to the Archivist after use (or discard it, if the Archivist isn't playing.) (As Any Player) (Any Phase)
Super: When another player discards a card, you may use your power to archive it. (As Any Player) (Any Phase)
This is not my user name.
Why is there no Word Games Forum or Subdomain?
There should be a Word Games Subdomain, or at least a Word Games Forum!
An interesting idea. Seems a little too powerful maybe. It's like the Clone, but it takes some time to get your card back, so it may not be available for use immediately. However, it also lets you reuse Artifacts, Flares, Reinforcements, Kickers, Rifts, etc. And all these cards can be archived over and over again. You'd archive all your best cards as quickly as possible, and make deals or give compensation to get rid of the rest as quickly as possible, and do everything you can to get rewards/new hands.
New Hands! When you have to discard all your non-encounter cards to draw a new hand, can you archive them and then immediately draw them back into your hand?
How does/should this power interact with Filch, Vulch, Fido, and other effects that pick up, or otherwise do something with your discarded cards.
Just a Bill
No, I said "oh, brother," not "go hover."
On a quick first look, it seems a lot like Cryo.
