Cheers

That was originally meant to be the atomics marker to be placed on the shield wall once it's blown.

It doesn't correspond to any other symbols though, so use it as you will. You can find something a more easily identified token here.

Great looking component!
May i ask, where in Uk can i get a PnP version?
I havent got the knowhow or the time to make one myself.

Is there any company or uk bgg user who i could commission (for a reasonable price)?

Regards, Sal

printplaygames i believe can print it out for you at a fee (around $140.00)

You have to contact directly and inquire though it was pulled from their site likely due to copyright

Many thanks for your answer.
But i think printplaygames is based in USA, so shipping + customs would be too expensive.

Hence i need a company or bgg user based in UK.
Cheers though!

Cheers all. I plan to use it as the shield wall collapsing token, I've got another round marker in the box already.

I got my copy from Print and play games and just paid the shipping.

It's certainly not cheap, but you only turn 40 once and I got my family to club together for me!

The game can also be played on Tabletop Simulator if you have a PC and Steam. Its basically a game that simulates playing a board game. Dune works very well.

Depending on how brave you are, I can give you some advice and notes about how to build your own. I'm in the UK (Ipswich) and put my own together.

It took about two months of planning and a bit of cash but I spread the cost over time so it didn't feel as bad.

Night fell and the hours dragged on, but still we murmured to each other of the King and the Pallid Mask, and midnight sounded from the misty spires in the fog-wrapped city.

We spoke of Hastur and of Cassilda, while outside the fog rolled against the blank window-panes as the cloud waves roll and break on the shores of Hali.

David, I would be very interested in looking at your notes/build instructions on this. This is exactly the wort of project I was hoping to undertake in the near future. Absolutely beautiful!

If anyone is interested then message me with their email address and I can send what I have. I don't want to link on here because the links may change or I may update the info. Most of what I have comes from scrounging on here a couple of years ago and then building things up from there.

The whole lot cost around £200 but the main cost was the board. I had it laser cut by a guy I do model making work with and I went all out on the extras by having it as two pieces for the board (top map and bottom for the turn/tanks/etc...) and then a box cut for the same sized map.

It can be made cheaper by cutting a few corners or making some changes to the number of bits. I also bought a load of fabric for the inside of the box and stuffing as well as wood stain and lacquer for the final finish.

I used the Ilya artwork but had to modify the map files to work with the laser cutter so I have the files in .ai format but I can run them out in other formats as needed so there was a lot of time and effort working on that stuff.

The counters are from hobbycraft. I bought a load of different colours based on the houses as well as a load to use as spice tokens. For the specialist troops (fedaykin and sardaukar) I just drilled a hole in a couple of the counters. Its not perfect, I am thinking of different things to try, but you can tell which ones they are pretty well.

The cards are artscow and someone else on here (I'm sorry, I can't remember who for attribution) has set them up as three sets to have printed. They're not too expensive and shipping was cheap.

Tokens, shields and other bits like the rule books are printed on nice cardstock at a local digital printers.

Totally derailed this thread now...
