Only 21 quest cards? Map tiles always the same, but in a different layout?

As it is now, will this game get repetitive quickly?

I'm sure they'll do expansions since they've already mentioned back items like clocks, backpacks, etc. I'd imagine they'll do new map tiles at the same time?

This is intended to be a sandbox style game (i.e. you can go wherever you want and do whatever you want...within the bounds of the game world and mechanics, of course). According to the Never Bored Gaming preview (on the KS page), there are multiple paths to victory, and all are viable winning options in their opinion, or you can split your efforts. For me, their statements sell me on the replayability.

Agreeing with Marty - unlike previous tiny epic titles where the replayability stems from big content variation, Tiny Epic Quest is more inherently replayable due to the sandbox nature.

Also I don't think you should too quick to dismiss the number 21 - since only 3 quests are out at a time and you'll be competing to get those three, the exact combo of quests currently available will colour your options quite a bit.

Anyone going to get tired completing the same temples, visiting the same mushrooms, doing the same quests, etc, etc, over and over?

Note that I haven't read the entire rules but seems you could vary it some by having empty spots in the grid layout, expand it a bit instead of it being only a square/rectangle layout, more freeform.
