Stay thirsty my friends.

Since this is a team play game, how does it play with an odd number of players? Or, with only 2 players? Does one player take multiple characters?

Thanks! meeple

The rules tells you to add one character to the team with the fewest players. That character is controlled by the whole team.

Actually you always play with an equal number on both sides, always 3 or 4. Indeed in some configurations that implies that players commonly share one of the characters of the team, or play with two each, or such. But it also allows for all configurations to provide a stable game experience (the more players, the more cooperative feel into a team, of course). Usually players discover that it is not a big deal to share some characters into the team because anyway they will tend to collectively discuss what each character can do to bring the best to his team.
