If a player who is not immediately to the right of the first player triggers the end of the game do the remaining players have a chance to take actions?

I find this to be a terrible imbalance if the remaining players are not able to play. The opponents would have a full turn ahead. This is very significant!

This does create a real imbalance in the game. Luckily it has been measured and you can correct for it. See this thread:
