Hi,
I have just the simple question in the title, maybe someone tried it already.

I have some space problem in my shelf and I'm thinking of storing all the materials in the add-on box into che retail box, throwing away the trays for the miniatures and storing them in separated ziplocks.

Do you think this will be possible?

Thanks

i fear its just too much for one box, you will still need about 1,3-1,5 of box space, more if you have some addons as well.

I think it will work. Havn't tried it. But you save A LOT of space when you remove the trays.

if nothing else helps, there is always the blender.

at least it would answer the question: Will it blend?

also, it would solve any level of detail issues with the minis
a pile of lion dust would have exactly the level of detail as a giant pile of snake dust - so there is that.

of course it would rise a lot of new questions:
Should I grind them separately?
Painting before or after the blender, if at all?
Wouldn't sacks of painted sand be easier...
Can we breathe at the gaming table without making a mess?

But what would be life without questions

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You're wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

I tried but there's not enough space. You will still need both boxes, even if there's more or less an empty half box.

I got everything in the king pledge + the kickstarter addons in the conan box. It is a VERY tight fit.

Remove the tray. If you paint minis, simply use varnish. It won't hurt because they aren't in metal. I stored mine by type with their tiles in plastic bags

So you too stored all the materials in only one box succesfully?

I will not paint the minis so that won't be a problem.

Thanks for all the answer guys.

Two boxes : one with all miniatures bags

The other with the 3 maps, the token, a overlord zip (timetrack, skelos tokens, gems...), etc. Everything you need to play.

I think one box might hold the whole stuff but it would be painful to install (the map in the bottom, every miniature...)

Ive never had luck storing touching painted minis. No matter the protective coating there will be paint damage.
