When determining the BODY SIZE of a species as it relates to the CLIMATE BOARD, do you ONLY take into consideration where your cube is PLACED on the "Body Size" aspect of your species board? (ie...cards like "Pack Hunting" or "Hard Shell" have NO effect as it relates to Body Size on the Climate Board.)

So many people think that being bigger makes you a better person.

I'm (probably) bigger than you, but that doesn't make me any better. It's what's inside that counts.

Only the actual body size matters. Pack Hunting and Hard Shell only modify the effective body size for determining whether a Carnivore can attack another species.

So, ONLY where your cube is on the species board determines what number to use for the Climate Board, correct?

First there was Hearts, then there was Spades, and now we bring you Clubs. The suit of clubs finally gets some respect!

The trait cards you are referring to use the wording something like, "When determining if this species can be atttacked". So it does not refer to the Climate.

On a seperate point, if creature A has symbiosis (cannot be attacked if Creature B has a larger body size) and creature B has the same body size but also has the hard shell trait (or other body size trait) does Symbiosis trigger?

No, it doesn't have a larger body size.
