Here we go, a proto playmat for Greenland. I need some feedback with various questions.

1- How many cold zone boxes? now, with 3, the playmat is 91 cm width

2- No cold zone boxes at all? use the table for it. Is an option.

3- Many boxes, like 6+, even is the playmat is 120 cm width

Thanks for suggestions.

Looks great. I love it.
Cold zone boxes: When I play (having short table) I simply move decks, Vinland and Marklad to the right. So actually no extra cold zone boxes are needed.

First, remove the player aid and the places for the event and discard piles.

Then I would vote for 6 cold zone boxes (depending on the width)...

+1

No "cold zones" are needed as you'll just be moving the deck. I've seen games that went all the way to six and putting six extra columns to the left would make the playmat unusable for all but the longest tables.

What I was thinking is no cold zones, but if you could make each card slot wider and put a cold zone symbol along the left edge and a 'warm' zone symbol along the right edge. just place the card to expose which zone it is. I realize that you already know what zone you are in based on what side of the draw deck you are on, but it would be a nice visual cue. The draw decks would be in the middle of the slot, so would show a bit of cold on the left and warm on the right. Even better than a symbol on the left and right, maybe just a nice colour band.

No cold side edition, with especial rule for move deck to right.

Same version but with Valhalla zone at left. (like Neanderthal playmat)
