There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary: Those who do, and those who don't.

I wouldn't say ripped off but he is one of those directors who will, very much, give nod to influences of his.

I was unaware that Disney was the one who invented "one against many".

He's looking real sharp in his 1940's fedora. He's got nerves of steel, an iron will, and several other metal-themed attributes. His fur is water tight and he's always up for a fight.

He's a semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action. He's a furry little flat-foot who'll never flinch from a fray. He's got more than just mad skills, he's got a beaver tail and a bill.

I remember watching Pulp Fiction and thinking, "Man, this is practically a Disney film."

Tarantino is an appalling plagiarist. A nod to so-and-so, an homage to whoever is vastly different from wholesale cutnpaste.

They did and, like the Mouse, it will be protected by copyright for the next 4,000 years or so (they're very good at getting extensions for those kinds of things).

Disney is also an auto-cannibalist. Baloo the bear in Jungle Book was literally re-used as Little John the bear in Robin Hood. As in, they copied the cels, painted on a habit and just had Phil Harris record a fresh script. Same cels, same character, same voice. They re-used Snow White dancing cels and some others too.

Baloo was famous for his role in Jungle Book so they use it in Little John just like you'd reuse an actor... nothing wrong with that!
