Odysseus is clearly blue.

Sphinxes are always blue in Magic.

Medusa is a gorgon, which are usually green/black (though sometimes pure black).

Zeus is a bit red. Another good candidate for multicolor.

Doing this right would take a lot of time. What is the point?

Draft options are limited by synergy anyway.

Hi guys,

You got me . I played Mtg four some years and it definitively inspired me with some of the mechanics of the game

But I never thought about making a classification per color of the different characters. Very good point

Thematically, if you only saw the pictures or sculpts, it may look like that. But mechanically:

Athena is a mix of blue/black (tutor 3) and green (play 3). In no way is Athena white. No way. White would be protection, life gain, troop buffs.

Some monsters, like the hydra, fit green, with being beefy, having regeneration, etc. Also amazons may be green, with affinity to forests and such.

Zeus may be red-like, because lightning bolts. Thematically it is a god of air or heavens, so it also fits blue. Also colchis bull red, as it is a lava bull (thematically and mechanically fits red).

Edit: Also, forgot to add. I call Athena the unit with most potential to get broken, and a sleeper hit(s) like (3 tutors + 3 dark ritual) was with magic when it first launched. Basically, you get three times a specific art of war effect, which is a lot. And to top it off, play 3. Then, add more and more minis, and counterdrafting may no longer keep Athena in check, as multiple units or multiple combos may be enough to be impossible to be negated. The weakness is that Athena is weaker than average, and if your god dies you lose. You are basically 'paying life'. All in all, Athena is very black-oriented.
