Really enjoying playing the game with just a few extra house rules:
1. remove 10 x 'draw two cards' tiles - this makes all the fun stuff (crises, tensions, mines & factories) much more common.
2. if a crisis escalates via a 'skull' roll during the crisis resolution then that additional crisis level is not removed at the end of the phase and instead is added permanently to that tile (use a spare pass turn cube placed onto the card). You can only remove it now if you defeat the tile it is placed on as normal. This makes crises a lot more of a threat - but still manageable if you focus on them.
3. Ganymede crises go back in the bag.
I would add drawing a card if you take penultimate pass cube.
