Out of this, nations the dice game and discoveries, which do you think is the easiest to understand and get into?
I dont mean the weight of the decisions
in-game, just the rules as such.

What do you guys think?
Thanks for your thoughts.

I'd say siesta is just a little easier to get into. On the other hand weaker players can easily make mistakes without others noticing (simultaneous actions), in this respect, Nations Dice is better for play with beginners.

Haven't played discoveries.

I can't wait to get my hands on No Siesta and it's made me think a bunch about other Euro-dice style games

I think it's most similar in style and weight to something like Octodice or Saint Malo

I also see similarities to other heavier dice-drafting games like My Village and Grand Austria Hotel

Or lighter dice drafts like Doodle City

I've never played Discoveries or nations so I can't make a direct comparison

I'd be curious to know some other games that may "feel" like No Siesta

I have watched a video on No Siesta, and I have played discoveries many times.

Discoveries can be somewhat complicated to understand the way the dice work and completing cards.

It's not over complicated, but maybe more so than No Siesta.

Discoveries is a great game though. My wife likes roll through the ages quite a bit, and I think she would like No Siesta also. she barley likes discoveries, it approaches her limit on what she likes in a games thinky-ness and complexity.

Hope this helps.
