This mission says:

M - Search Event Deck and Discard Pile for Raiders. If none, search for Klingon Battlecruiser.

This is perplexing because if you search both the event deck AND the discard pile you cannot help but find any card including raiders. So does that mean that you take a raider vessel every turn as an event.

What I did was to go find a raider vessel and put that in a second discard pile. Then I took all other raider cards in turn till I ran out. Then I selected every Klingon in the pile one at a time but didn't run out. Had I run out I would put the second discard pile back into the first and then select a raider, etc.

No idea if this was right. What do you all think?

We must move forward, not backward, upward, not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

That effect re-triggers every turn, and if the Raiders are still active from a previous turn they won't be in the Event deck or the discard, forcing you to add the Klingons too.

If you don't keep knocking those Raiders down as soon as they appear, things will escalate out of control very quickly.

Kyle is correct. The intention is to have endlessly respawning raiders, and if you don't deal with them things escalate. If there are no raiders in either deck that means they are all in play, and you haven't been busy blowing them up.

That's actually easier than I was doing it. I ended up with Klingons half the time. I'd blow them away every time so good.
