i believe original game complexity scale was 7 of 10

question; what would be complexity rating of game now with 3rd edition rules and all errata. 1 to 10 10 being highest level to play.

The 3rd Edition rules has all the errata in it. Is there any other errata?

I'd say the complexity rating of the 3rd Edition rules is about an 8 out of 10.

The 3rd Edition rules (including streamlined 2nd Edition rules) are only 17 pages long. The only changes that have significant associated rules are as follows.

1) naval bombardment
2) ports have 2 parts: entrance hexside and hex itself
3) CN West Indies operation (CSG only)
4) bateaux may also move on land
5) Leaders and Partisan Leaders
6) elite units
7) retreat after combat
8) limits to SPs committed in each round of combat

Outside of #5, none of these are very complicated.
