Hi Everybody,
I'm looking for a game where people are supposed to be kind of and act like Crisis Communication Managers or something similar in the area of Communication.
Can you help, please?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

I know of several possibilites.

There's the megagames, but they need lots and lots of players - http://www.pastpers.co.uk/megagame%20packages.htm

There's also a few RPGs that are in this area. Executive Decision and All the President's Zombies are the ones that spring to mind.

Can you define Crisis Communication Managers?

(Do you mean like PR or in the context of communicating in stressful situations?)

It's a video game: Spaceteam

Or a board game: Space Alert

Both of these provide each player with certain resources, a ticking clock and requirements that must be performed by others while simultaneously helping others with their requirements.

And always the ticking clock to provide pressure.

Edit: also based on the communication theme: Hostage Negotiator

Space Team and Space Alert are both fantastic suggestions. If you are looking for a game that requires players to communicate quickly and accurately, these are great choices.

Dear, thanks a lot for the suggestions.

I will consider them and keep you posted. At the moment I am off to a conference in the USA, but I will address this issue from Dec. 20, when back. Thanks a lot again!

Dear Liam,

your definitions both work fine for me. Ideally it is about a PR, but could also be a Media Officer, who has to work in a stressful situation.

Thanks a lot indeed for your help.

My best greetings to you and Scotland The Brave!

PS: In my early career I imported Glenmorangie in Italy, but now I am a prof. ;-)

Dear Jeff,

Thanks a lot indeed for your suggestions. Since I am thinking of a particular use in class, I will probably drop the video game, but, as said in the first reply, I will consider the other titles as soon as I will be back from the US.

Dear Cardboard Hustle,
Thanks a lot for your "endorsement" of the games. Since I am a professor of English Linguistics in BA and MA courses, if they require to communicate quickly and accurately, these are great choices, to quote your own words.
All the very best!

'Keep talking and nobody explodes' could fit. It's a game for 2-6 players, where 1 player has to use a pc/mac.
