Granting that I disliked Caverna for these 3 main reasons:
1) to me seemed like a solitarie games with 0 player interaction, this brings to the second point
2) the openess of the action leaves everything meh, like oh you chop 3 wood, well i will take 2 wood and 1 coal... and so on
3) there was no tension, no engine fighting (like for example robinson crusoe). There were no player in difficult, I got no mentally engaged.
People told me I could like agricola coz is tigher and you have to make things work (unlike caverna)
The things that draws me back from Leaving earth is that is a game that involves calculations (maybe could be a bit dry), and once you have found an optimal combination of rockets, you could use it for all the games on.
What will you suggest me to buy if you have spare 60 € to spend in boardgames.
