If you have a zero in your "won" pile at the end of the game, your amulets for that color are doubled.
So:
If you have both of the zeroes in a certain color in your "won" pile at the end of the game, is the number of amulets for that color quadrupled, or does only one of the zeroes count?

Re:Question about the zeroes
Numskull (#25308),
It certainly isn't clear in the rukes but we play with x4 if you get both. It's pretty hard/lucky to do so why not? It also seems from the session reports and reviews that others play this way too. I have also just learnt that you can't pass if you are the starting player and have cards which now makes sense and is also clear from reading the rules again. Thanks guys!

Re:Question about the zeroes
otaku (#25313),
Actually, it is in the rules, though not stated explicitly. Towards the end of the scoring example in my copy of the rules (I have no idea if there's different versions), one of the players has two zero cards, and scored x4 points. I don't remember which player it was, but it's right towards the end, so if you don't read the whole, rather long scoring example, it's easy to miss.

It is natural that 2 zeroes amount to x4.
It is more or less the same difficulty to win with zeroes as it is to win with 1,2,3's. If I win 3 5-point cards, they score 15. If I win 2 5-point cards and one zero, they score 20. So if I win 1 5-point card and 2 zeroes, it's natural that I should score (at least) 20.
It's deliberate that the 5-point cards, and the zeroes, dominate the scoring. (There is a gap between 5-point cards and 3-point cards.) And think about it, it's not so easy to win 3 cards out of those 5. So the 20 points are well deserved.
