My copy came with two cork balls, a large one and a small one. I'm guessing the larger makes the game easier; is that right?

OK...I know I'm opening myself up for some serious ridicule...but, here goes:

I don't have 2 balls. Sigh...

My set only came with what I am imagining to be the small cork ball.

And the contents in the rulebook only state one cork ball.
How/why did you get two? Any thoughts? Besides that you are simply more virile than I?
