I just discovered the great power of malediction. for every card you discard, a rival get -1 in combat. This power prolongs the game if it comes to the point were everyone tries to stop the active player from winning. As a last resort a player with this power can throw all cards he got if necessary, and in Munchkin you really can get a lot of cards, to stop even a wellplanned winning battle against the Maggot.
This means that the before mentioned lack of "buff cards" is remedied a bit. For those who want a faster ending, simply remove these two cards or say that in only could be a rival in your own combat.

How are you getting around the hand size limits to get "a lot of cards"?

Well, I chose to interpret "discarding cards" so that I can discard cards
from the table to.
If you have to discard fron your hand there are possibilities to get more by using "Rodomontade" that gives you +1 hand size. And since your hand size only is checked at your own generaosity you can gather cards during the others turns and use them against them. Then it helps having "beguilment" (All generosity to you) and maybe being a werewolf.
If you use it to much it probably must be a part of some winning strategy of yours where hindering the other players somehow makes YOU win.
To be a true card wizard and dazzle the others you want: *Rodomontade *Beguilment *Percontation *Transmogrification *Malediction and being a Werewolf or changeling. then you can do as you lika since no one will be able to grasp what is allowed and not.
