I'm convinced that there's got to be something these cards are good for, besides playing Gargon. They're beautiful, and they seem pretty generic. It's not that I don't like Gargon, but the deck just screams out for re-use. However, the coloured backs prevent them from being used in most card-based games...

I suspect you could play Pico, if you just took one of the suits. There's the same progression of higher cards being worth fewer points. I haven't tried it yet though.

Any ideas?

Actually I just noticed that I misunderstood Pico. Apparantly the higher cards -are- worth more points than the lower cards. Still, something could probably be worked out (I suspect you could play a Pico-like game with one suit from a deck of playing cards, if you really wanted to).

Re:What else are these cards good for?
Well.. you can use it to play a Titan:The arena clone.

Titan: The arena have 8 monsters and each monster have cards numbered from 0 to 10. You can use the strength 12 card as the main monster and 10-0 as the normal action/battle cards.

Of course playing it with Gargon means you wont have the spectators and also you will have 2 less monster than in the real Titan: The arena box.

All in all, I think it will be good enough to play
