Any word on when this will be available or how one can go about ordering it?

There is a palette coming from Germany to the U.S. (by slow boat, apparently). Funagain has preordered some, so they will be the first retailers to get them when the shipment arrives, but we are also working out a deal with Alliance to distribute in the U.S.

In the U.K. we are being distributed by JKLM, and they already have some, since we debuted Fruit Fair at UK Games Expo. So some British stores (and their websites) either have the game or can get it immediately.

Meanwhile those of us in the New World will just have to keep waiting for that slow boat.

Perfect, Kris! Thanks very much for checking in and giving us the information. I'm looking forward to sharing my favorite Essen game of last year with friends.

Just received from Shire games, Fruit Fair, Ice Flow and Keltis. They all look good. Haven't played FF yet but rules are understandable.

... I guess I meant "pallet". A "palette" is something used by an artist to smear paint on. (Although I guess they could use a game box for that purpose.)

Anyway, inaccurate English aside, I am told that the ship has arrived in Vancouver, and now it's just customs, and then shipping to Seattle.

Since it's a game about juicy, delicious fruit, didn't you really mean "palate"?

Let us know when you're taking orders or when you've shipped to a good retailer or distributor. Thanks!

We have just shipped a box of Fruit Fair to funagain.com.

We are also in the process of finalizing agreements with two distributors: Alliance and ACD, so if your local stores get their games from either of these two distributors, you can request Fruit Fair (or Claim It! or Nomads of Arabia) from your local store.

Unfortunately, Alliance and ACD won't have it in stock until their shipments come from Germany. (Funagain has it now.) (So does Gifts From Atlantis, if you ask them.)

And keep an eye out for Jet Set, an airline game that we will be premiering at Essen this year. (... shameless plug ...)
