I thought someone here might like to know that this book can be had for $4.95 plus shipping. Here's the link:http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=1-9780486273471-...

Fun book. I read it over and over again as a kid.

Yep it's a great book. I paid 20 bucks for my well worn copy, so I thought someone might be able to take advantage of a much cheaper price. It didn't take long!

I agree. Fantastic, addictive book - Sid Sackson was ahead of his time.

The only reason that I'm posting though, is that I live 60 feet from Powell's Books - (plus four stories) - so if anyone wants to play me Chess or Go or Arimaa, or Any game in a Gamut of Games, Geekmail me and we can play in the Powell's coffee shop. • Zephyr
