Hi guys,

We just bought this game yesterday. The rulebook setup was for 4-players. Perhaps we might have missed it but there wasn't any reference about 2 players even though this is a 2-4 players game.

Do we choose only two types for our Zoo entrance eg. Porky Park and Gorilla Villa instead of all 4 types? Then we follow the rules for 4 players, bidding for all 5 Zoo tiles to start off with?

One question that my husband raised was - "what happens if anyone of us were to used up all or most of our zoo coins" during the 1st year and can only replenish another 2 or 3 zoo coins cos we only have 2 or 3 zoo tiles in our Zoo. Would this player be at a disadvantage for the 2nd year onwards?

Could anyone who is experienced in playing this game kindly enlighten us pls?

Many thanks =)

As far as I know there are no special rule changes when playing with 2 players. Everything works exactly as the rulebooks says.

However, you *can* simplify the handling of the visitors and the trees if you want; just use one of each color instead of three, giving it to the player in the lead.

And yeah, if you blow all your money on 2 tiles you're gonna be hurtin for a while!

And yes, each player gets one zoo entrance.
