I need our German translators to come through again. Unfortunately I took up French in school!

The game isn't really worth it, as it is terribly broken.
: Very little reason to ever leave the top third of the board. Because the same goods keep being replaced onto the same spots on the board. And if someone goes south to pursue a different strategy will they lose the game as those staying at the top can earn far more points just cashing in the same goods over and over again.

Can the rules be tweaked to correct this proported problem you suggest? I would like to read an English translation to get a feel for the game, if I wanted to buy it.

That's why I've played it 3 times. The easiest solution was to NOT return cubes to the board as they were sold. While this forced players to move South to find new goods, it also meant that the game dragged out far more than was enjoyable.
And now I have - as so often before - run out of players willing to playtest 'unfinished' games.

I've read through the rules and written an explanatory translation which I have now posted as a new thread. Hope it helps.

You've made my day!............thanks a lot! You are the official German to English translator here on the BGG, as far as I am concerned.I have used many of your translations to play German games.

I have gotten the English translation of the rules from a generous member if anyone needs them after buying the game.

I've played once, yesterday, with the rule that cubes are NOT returned, but after a bit we needed to return the cubes because the game was lagging and my 4 (!) year old son had a mission card for yellow, and the yellow had already all been taken and used up - not a very nice thing, I'd say.
My suggestion would be that if no cities contain a color you're handing in, you need to replace that color. Therefore there is ALWAYS one of a particular color in city to be gained, even if someone is stocking them on their ship.
Furthermore, I would rule that somehow you would need to randomize the city the cube is placed - don't allow the player to choose themselves.
We randomized it as follows:
Roll a die: 1-2 --> north third (of the board) 3-4 --> center third 5-6 --> south third
Then roll again: 1-3 --> west 4-6 --> east
(or 1-2 west, 3-4 center, 5-6 east depending on the first die roll)
(Of course if the city that is rolled is full, place it on the other city in that section or roll again.)
