I have heard tell that this expansion can be created from files found online. Could someone PM me with a link to said files? Thanks!

Also, does anyone have a source for their favorite minis for this game?

Sorry - I bought the Leading Edge ones when they were still making them - have you tried ebay?
There are also some Aliens versions of Heroclix I believe.

Thanks for the Heroclix tip!

It looks like the proxy-modders at Heroscapers have already discovered them. I have the base game arriving in the mail soon.

Yes very good minis. I use Pendraken minis, they have a great Alien minis range (queen, facehuggers, alien drones, alien warriors, marines, civilians and even predators).

Leading Edge produced a box set of marine miniatures from the second movie.

em4miniatures ( http://www.em4miniatures.com) have a decent range of figures (I use the troopers with the additional heavy weapons pack). Much cheapness and well worth a look.

I managed to get 3 boxes of HorrorClix Aliens for the price of 1 box a while back. Then I got a box of preds and the queen.....22 Aliens, a queen, 20+ marines and a fistful of preds. They all look so lovely deadly on the board : )
