Just curious, I know that it had it's space combat system as a board game but that is DeltaVee and is a separate entry.

This is a weird anomoly, I agree. There are virtually zero boardgame elements in this game - far fewer than GURPS or D&D, anyway.

Good game though.

It was published by SPI, a noted publisher of wargames.

It looks like it had 200 counters and a map. Easy enough to be confused with a wargame.

Delta-Vee has hexmaps and counters, and was packaged in along with the boxed edition of Universe, but I certainly do not remember any such in Universe. If it DOES count by virtue of using a stand-alone boardgame as it's combat system, I have another half-dozen RPGs of the period to add to the database...

Which is why a separate site for rpgs seems like a bad idea. We have wargames as separate tab you can search on, so why not rpgs? Games are all games. It is going to suck when a really good general game design thread is started on one site, and then half the gaming population will never see it. Let rpgs in to the board and war game circle, or games like Battlestations will need counseling.
