Hi I recently won Aliens & Aliens Expansion. Everything arrived in the Aliens boxed set and is there but I wanted to return it because there was no box for the Aliens Expansion. The seller told me that the expansion had no box that it was just wrapped in plastic. When I look at the pictures here I can't tell if the Expansion comes in a box or not.
Can some one who wons the game please confirm if this game was sold in a box or were the componets just shrink wrapped in plastic.

Be of good cheer, the "Aliens" expansion came in shrink-wrap with the cover illustration showing. No box. Everything fit in the original "Aliens" game box.

Fortunate find.

There used to be a line of 25mm metal minis that worked with it (I believe they were from Leading Edge; I know they came in foam-lined black plastic snap-shut boxes). They are long OOP but you can find 15mm Aliens-style Marines and aliens (along with predators) as metal miniatures, and these work fine with the square size on the "Aliens" board. Marines with pulse rifles, smartguns, officer in bill cap, a couple poses (and sizes) of aliens.

Can't recall the maker but originally they were Freekorps (Ireland) figures.

Enjoy the game, it's a real challenge for the Marines.

P.S. If you love the "Aliens" theme, don't overlook "Sniper: Bug Hunter" from SPI. It's well worth finding and has a two-sided map, one with an installation very similar to LV-432's colony base and the other depicting the interior of a large space ship with lots of compartments, corridors, and places to be eaten.

The Aliens Expansion never came in a box. I'm pretty sure it just came shrink-wrapped.

I want to thank everyone for the quick replies.
I feel relieved to know I got a fair deal.
Now I got to find some minis, so I appreciate all the mini info posted above.
