Ok..
First of all, I am glad I got this expansion. I feel the use of the objective cards gives it that little bit of edge one needs to play this game.
I feel it eleminates the desire to bunker down in a house or two for the whole game.
But, the question is..
Cars!
In the rule book it states
– While in the car your movement is six spaces per action. Your car can move forward, backwards, or diagonally, but not laterally.
Now, the underline part is what gets me?
I assume, to move the car, the car must move in the direction it is facing. And I assume for it to change facings, it needs to move diagonally first.
So to turn the car around 180* Lets say driving North, then to south. I need to move the car on a diagnal so its facing East, then another diagnal so the car is facing South.. so I looks like a U turn... Was that the intention?
Its kinda hard to explain, but the road in zombie town in a big square, depending on where you are on the board, and what counts for a diagnal movement is realitve.
You guys see what it is I am trying to say?
Gosh.. didnt think it would be so hard to explain

I think you've nailed it. You need to move two diagonals to change direction. Note that I've been playing it wrong, never having remembered that "not laterally" part.

Yeah, you guys are right. The direction your car is facing is important for how you can move. You can't hop your car to the spaces on the left or right of it but have to turn left or right just like in a real car. Pretty pointless in game terms but funny to attempt three point turns and swerve back and forth whilst backing up across the neighbourhood knocking down Zack.
