It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.
You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

Having the Golden Meeple Microbadge myself all I can figure is that in order to get the pink elephant stamp you need to save Melissa's life.

The thought that comes to my mind is: "What happens at Essen stays at Essen." We may not want to know how you "earn" the pink Elephant Stamp from Melissa!

Re:
Quote: A theory? Notwithstanding the 'pink-elephant-seen-in-Essen' theory, I have a less titillating idea to propose. October was Cancer Awareness Month for a very specific body part (or parts ). Pink is the theme color for that kind of cancer awareness. Just trying to keep you abreast of another possibility for the meaning behind...the pink elephant.

But then ... essentially Melissa gave it out to people she already knew sorta, or something like that, so it never really got used the way she originally intended.
(Edit: It was designed and first awarded back in April.)

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

This from the woman who claimed that a card game "didn't really feel like we were making poison at all".

Maybe I'll create a nice little Mouse microbadge (a little mouse peeking around a gamebox), ask Aldie if I can give it away to people who made me laugh and own at least one game that has mice in it.
PS: don't tell anyone, it's supposed to be a secret society of mice.

Look out! Look out!
Pink elephants on parade Here they come! Hippety hoppety They're here and there Pink elephants ev'rywhere Look out! Look out! They're walking around the bed On their head Clippety cloppety Arrayed in braid Pink elephants on parade What'll I do? What'll I do? What an unusual view! I could stand the sight of worms And look at microscopic germs But technicolour pachyderms Is really much for me I am not the type to faint When things are odd or things are quaint But seeing things you know that ain't Can certainly give you an awful fright! What a sight! Chase 'em away! Chase 'em away! I'm afraid, need your aid Pink elephants on parade!

Quote: Pink elephants on parade! Ah, Disney! What memories...being 4 years old, having never seen the movie Dumbo...being locked in my sister's room on a dark, rainy day with my sister blaring this new Disney record with this unsettling, nay, scary song blasting over and over again into my pre-adolecent, impressionable mind with its overactive imagination ...thanks for the memories (pink elephants or not)

Reminds me of an endless German kindergarden sond with lots of fun activities for the kids. The seem to like it - and it rhymes at least in German. Some vids includes below to give you all a big smile.
"Was müssen das für Bäume sein, wo die großen Elefanten spazieren gehn ohne sich zu stoßen rechts sind Bäume, links sind Bäume und da zwischen Zwischenräume, wo die großen Elefanten spazieren gehn, ohne sich stoßen rechts sind Bäume, links sind Bäume und da zwischen Zwischenräume, ...."

which means something like
"What kinda trees have to be there, where the big elephants roam around without bumping into them them, there are trees on the right, trees on the left, an spaces in between, where the big elephants roam around without bumping into them them, there are trees on the right, trees on the left, an spaces in between, where the big elephants roam around without bumping into them them, there are trees on the right, trees on the left, an spaces in between, ..."
