The Jack Hood SE card is only available by buying the graphic Novel, CotG: Genesis from Filsinger Games.

Character Story:
I love the background of Jack Hood. The graphic novel does a great job showing Jack Hood as being a great, brawling villian, who feels no pain. There is more story to him but I would not want to spoil all the graphic novel here.

Artwork:
I like the art of the card. It's not the best I've seen in Champions of the Galaxy but it does show Jack's big metalic grin which I personally like.

Card Mechanic/Playability: Variable Depending on Tastes
It's hard to give the card a rating due to a few reasons.

The first one being that this card of Jack Hood takes place during a time period that Champions of the Galaxy has no official cards, so he may seem out of place in some feds. The closest he comes to fitting into a fed/s is in the Early Classics GWF or the original 2087 GWF (which comes after Early Classics time wise).

The second possible problem in using the card in a fed is his finisher the RIPPER. This card does a great job at showing the brawling personally made for Jack Hood in the graphic novel. In fact, it may do it too well. His finiser has a tendancy to injure other wrestlers in the fed. It wouldn't be bad if it just happened once in awhile but it can happen so easily that you find that you roster is soon full of injuries. So some may find the frequency of injuries in using the card fun and interesting, while others may find it bothersome and stop using the card in their fed or use him sparringly. I personally like the card but don't like the idea of him tearing up my roster.

Overall:
I would have given it a 3 1/2 rating but I give the card bonus for having a great story (laid out in the graphic novel) and for having the ability to stir up for fed with his strength. I think it is a good card but maybe one that I would bring in on special ocassions in my fed. And if for some reason you hated how the card works altogether, at least you will have a well written graphic novel to go with it.
