this is my and 4 years old daugther choice when we want fun and easy game. the more complicated one we play and i can also can recommend is Schildkrötenrennen.
i also own Flaschengeist expansion. it adds some more confusion where your meeple may be. without that expansion 2 player games are often too easy and are just another regular racing game. but sometimes even without expansion swapping ghots goes so mad that none of us can't follow their color. if you don't want expansion, original variant with swapping color is very nice (as following your color is quite easy after few plays, folowing opponent in addition is not so easy).
