- Bloodbath Titan Deathmatch -
Mack Calibur vs. Scorch
Scorch defeated Mack Calibur with THE TRAILBLAZER at 13:41
Match Rating: 2.75
Match Notes: Both wrestlers used the lack of rules in this match to their benefit. Both wrestlers were busted open early in the match. They mainly fought out of the ring with many slams onto the floor, ringposts and guardrails. The match could have went either way but was finally ended with Scorch hit THE TRAILBLAZER.

- Tag Team -

- Cage Tag -
The Fallen vs. Hellraisers
Jakyll defeated Darkseed with a Hit 'em High at 20:34
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: This back and forth cage match had the crowd standing by the time it came to a close. There were many close calls for both sides but it was The Fallen's resiliance that got them the win in this match.

- Normal -
Godsend vs. Avarice
Godsend defeated Avarice with a SPEAK OF THE DEVIL at 6:34
Match Rating: 2.75
Match Notes: This match took an interesting turn when the ref accidently got hurt in a move during the match. Avarice quickly hit 7th SIN after that with no ref to count the pinfall. Godsend feeling hurt went out of the ring and used the lack of a ref to his advantage taking advantage of ringpoles and guardrails. He then had control of the match and started to wear Avarice down with multiple HELL'S THRESHOLDs, and then when a ref finally ran down to the ring Godsend finished him off with SPEAK OF THE DEVIL. No one could hear what Godsend said to Avarice but he did not appear to be himself when heading to the back.

- Normal -
Zeta Grey vs. Paganax
Paganax defeated Zeta Grey with a PAGAN VOID at 3:01
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: Paganax's power was too much for the newcomer, as he did not give Zeta Grey a chance to mount an offense.

- Triple Threat -
Hustler vs. Mr. Bloat vs. Esperanto
Mr. Bloat defeated Hustler with a disqualification at 10:11
Match Rating: 2.25
Match Notes: Tempers were flying in this match. The ref could not keep control in this match and it soon became nothing more than a huge brawl on the out side of the ring. The match was ended when Hustler Pistol Whipped Mr. Bloat ending the match immediately with a DQ. Everyone continued the fight until authorities could cuff Bloat and separate Hustler and Esperanto.

- Normal -

Scud vs. Witchdoctor
Witchdoctor defeated Scud with a DEATH\'S SPECTRUM at 9:54
Match Rating: 2.75
Match Notes: Scud seemed to be a little frustrated at the beginning of the match. It got the best of his as he missed a few high risk moves giving Witchdoctor chance after chance to make a comeback. Scud had control of the match until Witchdoctor hit Scud with DEATH'S SPECTRUM behind the refs back and getting the dirty win over Scud. Witchdoctor grabbed a mic.

Witchdoctor: "They're coming...."

(drops the mic and heads on to the back)

- Holovision Championship -
Ventross vs. Totalis
for the aCe Holovision Championship
Totalis defeated Ventross with a Masterful Moonsault at 14:25

Another nice report, Luke. What criteria do you "rate" your matches and what is the scale?

Another question: I have the New Beginnings GWF set. Would you recommend the aCe set, or to stick with New Beginnings and follow it through a few years?

Filsinger Games has an online stat tracker that easily lets you put stuff in and rate your matches. For some sets like GWF 2087-2093, NewBeginnings-present 2123, aCe 2119-2123 Dark Tides, they have a play by play simulator that rolls the dice for you and shows the results. It also allows you to rate the matches.

I personally rate my matches on various things. How important the battle is, (is this a big feud, title match, specialty match???) Then of course how the match went. Usually longer the match the more entertaining and getting the crowd into it. If it is a shorter match with a quick ending like countout or DQ I will more than likely rate it lower. DQ's however, can play an important part in a storyline so it could be rated higher for a wrestler getting some 'heat'. It's one of those things that you have to judge for yourself.

As far as suggestions for sets...New Beginnings was GWF 2119 and now they are at 2123. I have New Beginnings and thought that it was good but aCe really drew me in. I have a review of aCe's first sets here on BoardgameGeek it will be 2119. It was more like a sci-fi horror war. It is now more like a normal fed but there are signs that it might get 'worse again'. The GWF is still the flagship of Champions of the Galaxy it is still like your Star Wars, Superheroes meets wrestling. If you are looking for something still a little different from those two there is also the POW (formerly CPC) it still has wrestling but it also has MMA which is a cool new way to play, and I believe that they are about to release a new set altering the MMA rules some so it will probably be getting better. There is also a GWFZ which has only three sets and is like a minor league of wrestling but has some great characters as all were designed by loyal fans. Depends on your tastes really.

I personally actively run an aCe fed and old school GWF, I want to start the POW MMA and get a good GWFZ fed running.

This board has alot of loyal players who could help you find what you want or would like...

Like here on BoardGame my name is mrbeefy on this board. Hope to see you there maybe!

**Oh rating is on a scale from 0-5 with 5 being an amazing match.
