Well, we've only played twice and already we've gotten it down to one piece left.

So now I'm wondering how to make this game more challenging. What do you guys think of the following?

Players are divided into two teams. If the platter collapses, the team responsible has lost.

Each turn a team removes a piece. If successful, the team may then designate a "forbidden" piece that their opponents may not touch on their next turn.

A designated piece is "forbidden" only for a single turn, although it may be re-designated later.

Obviously, if there are only 2 or 3 pieces left, you can guarantee victory by simply designating your enemy's only viable option as forbidden. However, I'm hoping that teams manage their selections so that they have viable options on their next turn.

Opinions?
