The Smell of Brains card says that when a zombie wounds a hero, all other zombies within 2 spaces immediately move into THAT space. Do those zombies now immediately fight that hero? What if those zombies were about to fight another hero?

From what I can tell, the zombies would immediately fight the hero that just got wounded. The fights that the other heroes would have had fought are now gone (the reason the card says ignores Zombie Hunger). It's definitely a brutal card and if not canceled, can spell disaster for the heroes.

But what if those other fights had already taken place and were resolved? Would you try to remember the outcomes and undo them? That could be impossible.

I think that if you had 6 zombie fights, and 5 of them had been resolved, that you could then play this on the 6th fight. If the hero gets wounded, all zombies within 2 spaces now fight that hero, whether or not those zombies already fought a hero this turn. Essentially, zombies could fight twice.

Of course you do not undue previous fights results, that would just be silly.

I say the zombies fight because
A) The heroes can cancel the card
B) The card is a one-shot
C) It only affects one hero
D) The heroes have cards that can make them invulnerable for a turn
E) There is a hero card that when discarded, moves zombies in their space or adjacent spaces one space in any direction (heroes decision, this card actually caused me to lose a game as the zombies)

I think the card balances nicely with the other cards in the deck. The chance you getting the card at the perfect time: slim, but if you do, you can cause a whole hell a lot of havoc.

You are correct! The Zombies DO get to fight, even if they have already fought this turn. Choice of timing with this card is everything and it can be a real killer (fits with the theme of 'Revenge of the Dead!").
