My pic. of the statue in Boston honoring Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Mass. Regiment. The movie "Glory" is a must-see!

Hi, All! Is this version identical to the 1950's version? I know there were some changes made to the game in the '70's (and later, I believe) that changed the game quite a bit. I've been thinking of picking up a copy of the original via eBay, but then I saw this reprint on the ThoughtHammer website.

The reprint will be fine for me IF it's the same as the original version! Anyone?!? THANKS!

I haven't played the original 50's version, so I can't say for sure, but that was their intention with this new edition. I have it and I think it's great. Are there any details about the original that you want to make sure it has? I can let you know.

Thanks, Jonathan! At my age, I don't REMEMBER that many details!!! yuk It sounds like the reprint was intended to match the original, and that would work for me!

Thanks again!

My wife and I both played Careers growing up, so we've had a blast with the new edition. I definitely think it's worth picking up.
