I'm curious how people are playing this.

I think with a 3 player game you'd need to do more than 3 hands for a balance things out, maybe 5 hands or 25 points. 4 player maybe 5 hands or 20 points.

I'm thinking the average is 4 points per round on 3 player and 3 points per round in 4 player, then round up to the next five.

Speaking for myself, I haven't played this game with a specific target. We just played until we wanted to stop, and then the player with the highest score won by acclamation. This just reflects the groups I've played it with, though, and I definitely see the value of preset targets.

Your suggested targets seem reasonable.
