Am I a man or am I a muppet? If I'm a muppet then I'm a very manly muppet!

1. I felt like the first two players are the ones that can win the game, the last player has nothing to do because he stays behind from the start. When it's his turn it can be too late to earn a good position in the race. Everybody feel the same than me?
Player order is mitigated by the actions of the other players.
Also, player order changes each round... the start player changes.

2. What can happens if the moai card appears in the first turn. You can get the 10 stones from another player? this is too strong, isn't it?
I don't know that it's ever happened, but if it did, the other players simply should not put stones in his head until things have evened out a bit.
Alternately, you could just redeal. It's a simple fix.

I feel that Easter Island is a very strange (broken?) game but it's beautiful !!!
All of the Blatz games had over-the-top production values & iffy rulesets. Die Oster Insel is the least problematic of them.
