Any useful strategy for this? I tried to run around and Search in any building I could safely go into and stay there for a turn or two. I had the required stuff at about half of the game (and a handful of events - mostly useless as I avoided fighting), but then had to fight a bit and lost ALL of the weapons (I'm very jinxed when it comes to dice)... I was able to restock again, but late in the game (with only three turns to go) and my Stockpile building was full of zombies by that time. I could have tried defending myself in the building, but during a previous game (Save the Townsfolk) with my girlfriend holding up for the whole game in the Church and I finally managed to eat her characters by the end of the game - I though it won't work here. Especially due to the fact that the Stockpile building was the Bank, which is very close to the Junkyard...

I managed to start going for the Bank in the last turn, which was only to check if I could kill any zombies. I didn't manage to, praise my rolls.

Anyway - any useful ideas?

I haven't played this yet, so perhaps I'm missing something, but it looks as though the heroes could just sit in the stockpile building, searching and clearing out zombies as they stumble inside.

Haven't played this one, but I'd imagine you could put a couple characters in the stockpile building searching for the items and have the others taking up position in other buildings to snipe at approaching zombies w/ ranged weapons or lure them away from the stockpile building (Amanda w/her ability to Hide and avoid fighting is useful for this, for instance).
