I got the expansion SUN for 14.95 and it looks great!
When I play the death card that gives me a bonus for what expedition is in play- does that bonus come from the immediate expedition in play or from the expedition in play when the game ends?

Thanks!

We play that the expedition card in play at the time of the untimely death counts for the bonus. You play an expedition untimely death card with the compass symbol that matches the current expedition card in play, and announce the bonus to the other players. There wouldn't be any strategy involved if the expedition at the end of the game counted, because you'd get the bonus because of blind luck.

You may need to keep track of points as the game progresses to record bonuses for specific characters. This can avoid bloody conflicts at the game's conclusion which could result in an actual untimely death.
