10 turns is sometimes not quite long enough for us around here. SO! We came up with rules for a Zombie Apocalypse scenario, which included new weapons and new rules. As follows:
Set up: The dead are rising from the graveyard in the middle of the neighborhood. No help is coming, and more are rising every day. It's you or them, now. You and your neighbors must destroy every one of the living dead...or die trying.
Game setup: As usual
Weapon rules: Players without any other weapon are armed with a knife. To attack with a knife, roll a d6 for your attack, and for the zombie's defense. If the attack is successful, push the zombie back one square, but do no damage. If the attack is unsuccessful, take damage as usual. Handgun cards have double the stated ammunition. 4-shot handguns are now 4-shot shotguns. Shotguns can only target squares adjacent to the player, and affect every target in that square, including other players and survivors. Players, and their survivors, may only carry one shotgun. When guns run out of ammunition, shuffle them back into the appropriate deck.
House rules: Houses may be used an infinite amount of times, but only once per turn, and no more than a single house's effects may be used in a single turn.
Attack rules: Forget about the Combat Deck, instead use the d12 combat rules posted in another thread.
Zombie rules Players move zombies as normal, though the number of zombies any player may move on their turn is capped at 10. When a player kills a zombie, they hold on to the zombie's figure, signifying one point earned. If a player or survivor dies, put the players zombie figures back into the graveyard, except for one. On that players next turn, put a zombie figure on the square where the player or survivor died. On the next turn, that player moves zombies as usual, but doesn't get a normal player turn.
Determining the winner: After, and only after, all Zombies have been killed, surviving players count the number of figures they have. Whoever has the most zombies wins. If all players are killed, no one wins.

sounds interesting..
whats the d12 rule, and how do you beat a zombie? by hitting/shooting it with a higher d6 value then the zombie?
