Curvus
Style: Pankration
Size: Man Sized
Rep (4)

Location : Somewhere in the outskirts of Rome

Opponent: Murmillo
Size: Man Sized
Rep (4)

-We both head straight for each other.

-I finally get close enough and try to flank him to his left side. He cuts me off and we engage. I swing wild
and he defends. He answers back with a slash from his sword. The wound scratches me across my unprotected chest.

-I go try to flank him again and again he cuts me off. I lash out with a spiked gauntlet (cestus) and nail him right in the face. The blow lets out a resounding clang but his armor holds true. The blow sends him back a step but does no damage. He charges back in with his sword. His sword crashes into my forearm greaves as I block his blow.

-I try to flank him again but to no avail. I dive in for a takedown. The Murmillo braces himself and stays on his feet. He swings his sword and barely misses.

-I get the drop on him and lash out at his upper left leg. He yells as my spiked gloves tear into his thigh. He answers back slicing into my chest. I take the wound but am still in the fight.

-We are both breathing heavy, nearly out on our feet. I take a moment to catch my breath and he does the same. The crowd gets restless as we circle.

-He charges back in sword overhead. I dash to the side and land another slashing blow to his upper left leg. He growls in pain and falls to the ground.

-I get a whopping +4 AP for my win.
-1 month passes and I my chest won’t heal.
-2 months pass and it finally heals up. I’m ready to head back to the arena!!!

*Barely won this fight. I only had 1 die left at the end of the fight. He wound up failing his last attack and I luckily got the counter.
