Was keen to pick this up, seeing the US price on the Geek is under 17$. Checked it out in local games store in the UK - £29.99. Huge sum for a small expansion and a definite off-putter.

Ouch. Where was that so I can avoid it?
Games Lore has it at £17 so I can only assume this shop A: Made a Mistake or B: Assume their customers are dumb.

Wow 29.99 Pounds equates to nearly DOUBLE the retail price here in Australia... You could probably buy it and get it shipped from here for less!
Pass that shop by, but let them know that it is available elsewhere for much less

Thanks guys - theyre usually pretty good so looks like it could be a mistake - now I have some ammo, I'll let them know theyre way over the top.
Perhaps a discount even!! :-)

its about 25 Euros here in Germany ... Considering that the Pound is below the Euro right now makes it even more sucky.

I have just replied to your thread. The solution is to always use multiple orders, making sure each is below £18 (inc. P&P).
Then email FFP to make sure they will dispatch separately which they are more than happy to do.
For anything more expensive than £18 use a UK retailer. I use IGUK usually.
