In the Z-Man games Newsletter 13 (http://www.zmangames.com/artwork/Newsletter_Issue%2013.pdf) They have a quick mention at the end of a 2010 release of "Cities". I was wondering if anyone known if this is the version/game they are referring to?

I really hope so because this game is prohibitively expensive to purchase right now.

did confirm that it is this game. I've had my eye on it for a while but having to import has made it quite costly. Now I will get it cheaper and be able to support Z-Man!

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.

Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

Cool. This is good fun game, just not really available outside of Europe (we picked up a copy in a shop in Aachen a couple of months ago and it was certainly available at Essen).

I am glad to see that it will be much more widely available.

Really? $24 is prohibitively expensive? Since when?

And, FWIW, the game isn't that great...it's OK, but I'm kind of surprised Z-Man is picking it up, given how "meh" it is.

I just played this game last night and it was amazingly fun! We played two quick games. It is the sort of game that is quick enough that you can play it a few times in a session. As a teacher I would love to have a copy or two to use with the students at recess.

I'm not a huge fan of tile laying games but this one really works for me. I really do hope that Z-man games is able to release this next year.

Wow. I played it at BGG.CON and thought it was fantastic. This fits the casual game market perfectly, I think.

Looks like in newsletter 15 it is missing from the 2010 release schedule

No date set for 2010 and it's June. Thanks, but I took the plunge at $33 and wound up saving like $10 on shipping because of it. I see it as a wash and I have the game.

Hopefully Zman can make this a reality, but with it still in limbo and limited import distribution make me think that the demand is drying up and may just vanish.

It's not a deep game, but I do like it as a filler and a gateway game and I eagerly await my copy.
