Sometimes games forums emphasize the negative so here's a quick post just to say how pleased I was with Ludorum's customer service, just recently.
On finding that the black explorer meeples in our copy were missing, an email to Ludorum had them in the post to us in New Zealand before the end of the day, and now a mere 5 days later our game is complete.
Great service! And, since the game is a birthday gift due to be opened on the 14th, the recipient will be none the wiser! (Mind you... it might just be worth checking the components of the next game-as-gift you buy before the 'big day' and handing it over to the lucky giftee...).
Anyway, I was chuffed and impressed with the rapid response, so just thought I'd record it here!
PS... yeah... I know. Is it ethical to open the cellophane on a gift?! Does it ruin the moment? I guess there's a forum out there on that somewhere...
