I see your point Scott, but these are not the same as the last set; i.e. the French ones are all new, there is only one American AFV for the Eisenbach Gap Version only, not this version; the Soviets are different than the others games than what is submitted for feedback.
Those other microbadges have been on the market from anywhere from 3 days to 1 month, grand total of 18 from all the series, some sold more than others. But they are just starting out - not really a fair assessment.
As to the "more is not necessarily better", normally I would agree with you. However, there is 10 versions within the family of World at War. When I join that group of gamers, the selection of MBs that represented what I played was:
1 - did not exist until now 2 - very narrow field to select from (only 4 and 3 for just the Eisenbach Gap vesion) 3 - didn't match what game I was playing 4 - didn't offer a microbadge for which side of the game I prefer to play (only American, Soviet or West German for the Eisenbach Gap version versus today)
Now, this community of gamers has a variety to select from plus which game they prefer to play more than the others.
The "more is not necessarily better" reminds me of Henry Ford and the Model T - "Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black."
Anyway, you've made your point
This will be my final submission and I'll only submit those French microbadges for Paring is Burning.
Cheers, Andy

I was only questioning it. Not denying it. If there is a want for the badges out there, by all means keep making them. But I don't want a huge selection of badges (such as the Warhammer 40K) that just sit there unpurchased.

I don't know about creating more jagged breaks but the transparency does look better.

Great news, thanks!

There is a specific microbadge request Geeklist Microbadge Request & Design Feedback Geeklist (temp offline). Create an item there for the MB'ers to respond to. Most of the prolific (and aspiring) MB designers hang-out there. Any images or web-links you have are immensely useful as a starting point.
After some tweaks, the badges come back here for peer-review before submission and approval.

Proposed microbadges for the top UK national newspapers (only those with large national circulations, and they are listed here roughly in order of circulation from biggest to smallest). Suggested mouseover for each of these is "Newspaper Name reader" as appropriate. Just for interest, I've noted also the year that the newspaper was founded (this would not form part of the mouseover).
The Sun (1963) Daily Mail (1896) / The Mail on Sunday (1982) Daily Mirror (1903) / Sunday Mirror (1915) Metro (1999) Daily Star (1978) / Daily Star Sunday (2002) The Daily Telegraph (1855) / The Sunday Telegraph (1961) Daily Express (1900) / Sunday Express (1918) Evening Standard (1827) The Times (1785) / The Sunday Times (1821) News of the World (1843-2011) Financial Times (1888) The Guardian (1821) / The Observer (1791) Daily Record (1895) The Independent (1986) / The Independent on Sunday (1990)
If these are considered to be too many, one obvious choice to drop is News of the World since that newspaper ceased publication in 2011. Further culling should perhaps be done from the bottom of the list upwards, keeping those titles with the highest circulations. But there are some highly notable titles at the bottom end too.
Most of these images are conversions or edits of website favicons. The exceptions are for the Telegraph, Express and Independent, where I had to instead transform the full-size logos to get a suitable result. The Times logo is deliberately on a paper-coloured background.

While this is still a bit of a sore subject for me, I figure at least one of these should be submitted. So, which of the following (if any) Shogi fan microbadges should I submit?
originally posted here: http://boardgamegeek.com/article/8012376#8012376
edit:
Ended up submitting all of them, as, in retrospect, interpreting the pole results is a bit on the difficult side. I figure I'll just leave it to Skippen's better judgement and accept his decision based off of the above results >.>
