mb has been submitted.

Death and Taxis, designer of the Abbess microbadge mb, has given me free rein to adjust the image to make the styling look more similar to the new Prioress. Starting with the existing design, I applied a few simple contrast, color, and sharpness adjustments and then a couple pixel tweaks on the eyes and mouth, I came up with
.

They still have some dissimilarities, as do the original images.

Since the Abbess is a tweak instead of a new design, it will go through a different process. I still wanted to post here for feedback. Also, if someone else wants to give it try, that is fine.

Thanks! I really draw over it a lot after resizing, since it really did not looked good.

I added the chest things and touch it a bit, specially the eyes... but i think when i go near the original, it gets blurry and less defined

I like the "C" more, but it needs some cleaning in my opinion, specially on the right side, where there are some pixels wich are part of the "o" and the dot between letters. Also, you can try change the white backgrount to transparent.

Michael, this badge should be drawn by hand, shape by shape and piece by piece. The result will be better than a resized 'C'. Even if you'd find the very same font and take a screenshot of it, you'd still have to fix it.

OK. My original phrasing was bad. It should have been "societal debate is still raging...". The politics comes in because only the government has the capacity to enact legislation.

I don't believe it is any more political than most of the other awareness and / support badges floating around on the site.

If my belief is considered "political" then so is every other religious badge that offends me.

What makes it any different to mb. Same thing in my mind. They are both supporting non-discriminatory practices.

I'll not get into a debate here about this, it's not the forum.

Let the admins decide.

I will say only this--it is only political because politicians have made it so. It should have no place in politics (or heck, the church) since marriage was originally just a legal document to distribute land/property.

I have said too much...look the other way.

Hey again.

I had another person request for the Grateful Dead members. For Bill Kreutzmann. I would like to keep him in Black and White with a transparent background to match the other badges. I think I will go back and try to replace the Bob Weir (my design) with a similar image too to get them all consistent.

Anyway, here is the source photo:

I totally disagree with this statement. This should not be declined as a political issue. Not many pages ago there was a badge that was something like "I play games with my love" or something like that. There was a conversation about having the people representations to be different colors to represent different types of relationships. Two different badges were submitted, one with blue and pink, one with two purple.

This is consistent with those open minded beliefs and is also consistent with every anti-prejudice badge that exists.

I don't think how the discussion about the badge was framed should have a relevance on its submittal.

My two cents.
