Both letters should be symmetrical. There's also too much noise in there.
Make them both 6 pixels tall with 2 rows of pixels between them and a 1 pixel border.

I was using the logo, which has a very tiny line between the letters. Redrawing it from scratch might be better, but I couldn't trust myself with it being similar.

The noise I can too little about; I've given up on the logo scan and asked the designer for a cleaner version. That won't fix the assymetry, though, so maybe it's better off redone from nothing.

Ironic

The irony mark or irony point (؟) (French: point d’ironie) is a punctuation mark proposed by the French poet Alcanter de Brahm (alias Marcel Bernhardt) at the end of the 19th century used to indicate that a sentence should be understood at a second level (e.g. irony, sarcasm, etc.). It is illustrated by a small, elevated, backward-facing question mark.

Isn't the irony that if you have to point it out it's no longer an irony

PS: Nice.

It's more like types of cars than tire sizes. A 9mm is like a sports car, whereas a .45 is like a muscle car, for instance. Caliber is probably more important than brand to most people. A guy who loves his Kimber .45 would probably take a Springfield .45 over a Kimber 9mm. Caliber preferences run deep.

There isn't a policy, but I don't plan on making badges for any full-auto weapons, considering that nobody owns any.

Good looking badge you've got there. Some suggestions:

First, you could use some transparency on the outside of the circle.
Second, darken the letters so you can see what they are. Yellow almost never comes out well on light-colored backgrounds. The red and green could be a little darker too.

I only have MS Paint, how do you make the background transparent?
Made the other changers and it looks good. thanks for the feed back.

I got a 16x16 logo from the designer. It's much less noise, so it's less than a 10th of the size; though the serifs don't show in this small image. Instead of adjusting it, I'd just post it and see how it's received.

How about it? Just thumb if it's OK as is, or comment if adjustments are needed.

It's a little difficult to see. What are the letters? C B G? and what are the blue/grey symbols?

It's also 17x17. It needs to be 16x16.

Yours is slightly smoother. The M is a bit broader than in the original logo, but not so much that it matters.

I'm just interested in having it, not being the creator, so I don't mind either way.

Polls seem to be disabled (?) but what does everyone else say? Is this

acceptable (thumb if yes).

Proably a motor fan could argue something similar about the tires My opinion remain, i think the amount of gun-related badges, including designers, calibers, manufacturers, and specific weapons is too much (or it can soon be) in amount and detais for a game-related web. Although in not a gun-fan, i think my opinion would be the same for cars, of coffe fans (no place for different brands, blends, origins, and size of mugs, for ejample)

For some reason the poll icon doesn't show up if you do a quick reply/quote. You can hit preview to get the button, or you can open a non-quick reply/quote in another tab, make the poll, then copy and paste it back into your quick reply/quote.

I thought anomander64's design was sufficient, so I was surprised to see you have another go from scratch. I think they're both pretty good at this point: just check for symmetry and noise before submitting like garion mentioned.

Much better.

Perhaps you could make the letters a bit more visible. Like this for example:

A bit too fuzzy now, but something in between should work.

I still think the letters really need to be darker. The current size and shape is good, but the letters are not distinct enough.

Your person looks a little top heavy. I think it could benefit from some semi-transparent pixels.

I'm having my child in hospital these days. We're having a good service and would like to give a "geek thank you" to the pediatric specialists.

I've searched for a "Thank you Children's Hospital!" MB but there's none. As I can't really draw a straight line, maybe some agile hand could draw the MB for me? I think this is the place to ask. I don't know how this works, who 'owns' the MB or if it has to be bought like other MB, etc.

Thanks.

Ok Letters alittle darker, man alittle lighter and I think thats it.
I couldnt work out how to do semi-transparent pixels so lighter was a option
