Since I can't read a word in german, I needed to get the english translations for the Das Duell expansion from here on BGG...

When you use the "Exchange a card in hand" chit, it says you can exchange a card in hand for a card in the four face-up cards.

So, that IS different from the "Exchange Card" action, since the action not only lets you discard a card to the discard a pile, as it lets you choose if you want to draw from the face-up cards or the deck.

My question is: is that intended or is it a mistranslation?

My other question is that, for controlling a Influence Marker, you only need to have the SAME number of cards as your opponent? That sounded kinda weird, awarding ties...
