Hi to all of you,

Here is a clash rule interpretation between really veteran players...

It is all about the optioncards BIG JET, Robocopter and RETRO ROCKETS.

the wording at these cards are :
"when using this option, executes its behavior first, before executing your program card".

Opinion A:
First means first. So the option effects will have priority 1000 and will be done immediatly. After its effect. the robot stops temporarily, and the robots move in priority order. it is possible Robot A with Big Jet moves by the big Jet first, then Robot B with priority 800, then the movement of A with priority 500.

Opinion B:
First means first in your own turn.
All robots move in their own priority.
When it is Robot A's turn, he will use the Big Jet first and then executes his programmed card.

Both player are veterans, even rule lawers, although playing in different groups.

We would like to know your opinion, but also the prove for it if possible.

This seems pretty clear, you execute the behaviour before you would execute your program card. Not before any one else's program card, YOUR program card.

Though not really explicit, I'ld say Option B. Otherwise it should have said "...before any program card". Don't have the rules at hand, but maybe there's more in the rules (playing option cards).

I would favor option B as well.

As above.

Why is this in General Gaming, and not in the Armed and Dangerous forums?

B is my interpretation.

Why are you even arguing over RoboRally? If I have to raise my voice in a game or RR, it's gotten too serious, and it's time to leave the game.

I remember asking this question to WotC back in the days. Their reply is B – before your own card.

", before executing your program card" is obviously clarification that it is "before executing your program card" (option B) rather than literally "first" (option A). If option A was correct then the clarification would be redundant.
